This new yoga class builds on students’ existing knowledge of basic poses and sequences. Here we will move farther and deeper into the art and science of yoga. Students will learn new yoga poses and advanced variations of the basic poses, along with some Vinyasa (flow) yoga sequences.
We will also work on other basic aspects of yoga practice including:
- Pranayama (breathwork)
- Yoga philosophy and teachings
- Meditative aspects of yoga, such as meditation in motion
Class participants should possess rudimentary knowledge of basic yoga poses, alignment and have had a year of steady yoga practice.
