Prenatal Yoga – 2nd Class Added!

Prenatal Yoga – Saturday Class

Prenatal Yoga
Prenatal Yoga

As a result of several requests, we are adding a second specialty class, that is also in line with the unique needs and requirements of pregnancy.

In this pregnancy yoga class, we’ll enlist fitting and appropriate yoga sequences and yoga postures to prepare for the birthing experience. This class is also suitable for new Moms during the postpartum period.

The instruction is always appropriate for your particular situation as well as your term of pregnancy. The yoga asanas/ postures are based on Iyengar yoga’s alignment principles, but we will also use the breath as an integrative part of the practice. The different breathing, relaxation and meditation techniques are taught to develop improved strength, balance and peace of mind. As a result of this particular method, during this yoga class you will develop mind/body awareness, cultivate calm and equinamity.

This prenatal yoga practice and yoga sequencing will enable you to overcome common issues affecting pregnant women and improve sleep patterns as well. This second prenatal yoga class will focus even more on relaxing the body and empowering the mind: a practice fully modified for the needs of expectant mothers integrating deep restorative poses to relax, pamper and soothe.

Come and enjoy this second rejuvenating class the company of other expectant moms during this special time of life. Whether this is a second prenatal class you’re adding or the only one you’ll take during the week, you’ll find yourself refreshed, renewed in body and mind at the completion of each class. Ultimately this will positively effect your health, your mood and energy and your whole of your pregnancy each and every day.
