Zsuzsa Belhazy-Kovacs, M.S.M .E., zsuzsaRYT, Authorized Teacher, Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement (ATM)

Zsuzsa started out as a classical ballet dancer, studying for 12 years in Hungary and then many more years here in the US.  She started her yoga journey  practicing with Lilias Folan’s PBS series: Lilias, Yoga and You back in the early eighties, while living in Vermont. She is interested in healing modalities, meditation, qi gong, creative dance and dance therapy. She has studied Iyengar Yoga with Karin Stephan and Patricia Walden.  Zsuzsa is also a student of the Feldenkrais Method, currently in her third year of training at the New York Feldenkrais Institute with David Zemach-Bersin, director and master trainer.

After two years of studying with David Zemach-Bersin and the outstanding and exceptional professionals/trainers at the New York Feldenkrais Institute, Zsuzsa has obtained her certificate as an Authorized Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement (ATM) Teacher and continues her training to become a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner in 2013.

Zsuzsa’s focus is to bring therapeutic aspects of yoga and Feldenkrais movement to various audiences to help manage physical and mental challenges that occur in life.
